Job summary

Preferred candidates have a civil/environmental degree, 10+ years in hydraulic modeling, and a California PE or ability to obtain one within two years. Strong writing and client communication are essential, with occasional travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Typically, a minimum of 10 years of related work experience in hydraulic modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• California PE license or ability to obtain PE within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic modeling and analysis for water distribution projects.
• Calibrate models using field data and observed results.
• Prepare technical reports detailing model development and recommendations.
• Support design projects with modeling to validate facility sizing and performance.
• Communicate findings with internal teams and clients.
• Travel occasionally to project sites for data collection and client meetings.
• Develop figures/maps for reports and presentations.
• Mentor junior staff and help expand company resources.
