Brown And Caldwell is seeking a mid to senior level Engineer to join our Pacific Area team. You will perform water and wastewater hydraulic modeling, evaluate improvements, and support master planning for municipal projects.

The role requires strong modeling skills with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, InfoWater Pro, and GIS. Travel may be required; PE license preferred. BS in environmental or civil engineering and at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of related work experience in hydraulic modeling or a related field.
• Typically certified in the SMS Framework and progressing through the SMS competencies.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of water and wastewater hydraulics, operation and master planning.
• Experience managing projects and leading project teams.

Responsabilités

• Understand surface water, stormwater, water distribution, and wastewater systems and facilities.
• Develop surface water, drinking water, or wastewater models using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, InfoWater Pro, WaterGEMS, AquaTwin etc.
• Perform data collection and model calibration using field measurements.
• Calibrate models and analyze system performance to identify deficiencies and risks.
• Develop system improvements and support master planning documents.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and design documents.
