Job summary

The City of Webster's Public Works Department seeks a reliable team player for the Distribution & Collection Systems Specialist I to monitor and maintain the City’s water and sewer systems and interface with staff and citizens. The role may require on-call duties in the evenings or on weekends.

Minimum qualifications include a Texas Class C Driver's License and potential licensure as a Water/Wastewater operator. This is an essential services position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vocational/technical concepts with 1+ year of related experience.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License is required.
• TCEQ Class D Water/Wastewater licenses are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the City's water and sewer systems.
• Maintain water and sewer infrastructure.
• Respond to emergencies and interface with employees and citizens.
• Occasional on-call duties in evenings and weekends.
