Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
• Read and understand operating instructions clearly.
• Mathematical ability for calculations related to water systems.
• Demonstrated reliable performance in prior roles or studies.
• Literate in computer use and able to operate plant processes via computer controls.
• Waterworks license requirement will depend on experience and may be pursued after hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water treatment facilities and equipment.
• Maintain catalysts and reservoirs; perform inspections and data collection.
• Record measurements and prepare technical reports as required by authorities.
• Collect, analyze, and record water samples for regulatory compliance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment.
