Gwinnett County Government invites applicants for a part-time training position in Water Resources. Located at one of Gwinnett County’s water facilities in Buford, Lilburn, or Norcross, the role offers hands-on lab support and maintenance tasks while developing technical skills.

Work up to 29 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $20.36 and a maximum of 1,560 hours per year. Eligible applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer and math skills.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED completion.
• Must be available to work 24 hours per week, Mon–Fri.
• Basic computer skills with Word and Excel; ability to learn new software.
• Basic math skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist operators with lab samples, testing, and analysis.
• Filing/record-keeping.
• Organize Operations and Maintenance Manuals and plant drawings.
• Light maintenance duties such as cleaning and painting.
