Job summary

TSMC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Water Engineer to own safety, reliability, and performance of Ultrapure Water, Process Cooling Water, and waste treatment systems. You will develop PM plans, procedures, and training; mentor junior staff and coordinate with field technicians and service providers to keep water systems safe and well maintained.

Responsibilities include documenting SOPs, operating instructions, and OCAPs, and contributing to project design and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, or related science field.
• Preferred qualifications include Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degrees.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply 6S methodology to improve efficiency and safety.
• Provide support for operational and maintenance issues; assist in troubleshooting.
• Review data and analyze equipment to ensure specifications are met.
• Develop preventive/corrective maintenance documentation and SOPs.
• Forecast capacity needs and plan to meet demand requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to complete projects safely.
