Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a seasoned Water Infrastructure Project Manager to lead large-scale water delivery initiatives for AWS data centers across the Americas. You will coordinate internal teams and external utilities to deliver on time, within budget, and with measurable water sustainability outcomes.

The role requires building strong stakeholder relationships, managing complex portfolios, and navigating regulatory and contracting processes with public and private partners.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years working with utilities, land entitlement, or site development due diligence and permitting entities.
• 5+ years cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicating to leadership.
• Experience building relationships with utilities and regional planning agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of water supply and infrastructure strategy for AWS data centers in the Americas.
• Collaborate with Amazon Infrastructure teams on water sourcing opportunities for large-scale projects.
• Develop and negotiate terms for water and wastewater supply contracts.
• Analyze trends and regulations in the water space to identify opportunities for AWS.
• Work with regulators to develop policies enabling AWS growth and water sustainability.
• Manage water projects against plans to meet commitments and cost saving goals.
• Be a passionate self-starter and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Work on concurrent projects across multiple regions.
• Travel up to 30% for project planning and delivery.
