Job summary

Amazon AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a water treatment design expert to influence water chemistry, sustainability, and construction for our global data centers, coordinating with design engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance teams worldwide. You will prepare detailed designs for water treatment and sustainability systems, ensure code compliance, and support operations post-construction.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience.
• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality water treatment advice on a wide variety of projects globally while working with global Mechanical engineering teams to achieve alignment of water treatment systems objectives.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and risk management teams to answer requests for information and value engineering queries.
• Be responsible for code compliance, design and installation standards, water supply evaluation and assessment, testing, inspections, and submittal review.
• Meet with AHJs as needed to ensure approval of water treatment features.
• This position will require up to 25% travel.
