Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Program Management Portfolio Leader for its Water Solution division. This prominent leadership role reports to the Portfolio Director and oversees global PM services with a focus on North America, spanning dams, tunnels, treatment facilities and conveyance systems.

The role drives growth by strengthening client relationships, expanding the practice, and delivering program management excellence across facilities, linear infrastructure, and hydropower.

Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as DBIA, PMP, or PMI Program Management credentials preferred.
• 15+ years in a senior project and/or program management role (12+ years PM exp. of the 15 years of experience).
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search) as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the brand of a Black & Veatch service offering for Program Management and serve as an internal champion for PM with office leadership.
• Coordinate with other leaders to develop Program Management based on thought leadership and innovation.
• Lead or support development of pursuit plans, client relationships, and pre-positioning for opportunities.
• Identify gaps and suggest improvements to tools and processes used to deliver PM services.
• Develop resources for PM execution and mentor the next generation of PM staff.
• Be available as a Project Director, Program Manager or PM resource to support pursuits and execution of work.
• Increase BV marketplace visibility through participation in conferences and professional activities.
• Assist with development and implementation of Business Plans and client plans; lead proposals and project execution as needed.
• Support participation in professional society activities (CMAA, AWWA, WEF, ASCE).
• Promote Communities of Practice in Program Management, Asset Management, and related areas.
• Provide leadership in recruiting and staff development; develop annual goals and IDPs.
• Actively participate in project execution on assigned basis.
