Job summary

Pentair plc in Southern California seeks a Field Product Advisor to support top pool professionals with expert-level technical assistance and field education. You will partner with Sales, Warranty, Regional Support, and Training to ensure best practices in installation and product knowledge.

Travel up to 50% is required; ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical support or field service and a background in pool equipment, HVAC, plumbing, or related trades, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical support, product training, or field service within manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with third-party service providers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site and virtual technical support in partnership with Sales, Warranty, Support, and Regional Technical Supervisors.
• Facilitate product training and live demonstrations at customer locations, distributor branches, regional training events, and trade shows.
• Support product launches by assisting with field validation, warranty readiness, and feedback loops to Product and Engineering teams.
• Build and manage relationships with third party service partners, reinforcing product performance and adherence to Pentair standards.
• Act as a field liaison between Sales, Product Management, Customer Support, and Training & Education.
• Gather and share actionable insights from the field to improve training content, warranty analysis, and product updates.
