Job summary

City of Woodstock Illinois Public Works seeks a Maintenance Worker I in the Water & Sewer Division to perform manual labor and operate equipment for sewer and water systems. Work is under the Water and Sewer Utilities Superintendent with direction from the Maintenance Foreman.

Regular schedule Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Starting pay is $26.52 per hour with full benefits including health insurance, benefit time, and IMRF retirement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of utility maintenance experience.
• Valid Illinois Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsements and an acceptable driving record.
