City of Cibolo seeks a Utilities Operator I to assist in maintaining the water distribution system and wastewater collection system. You will read meters, perform routine tests, and support public relations while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a valid Texas driver’s license, a Class D Water license within six months, and a Traffic Flagger certification within one year. This position offers an hourly wage with strong benefits and weekend on-call rotations.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Class C driver’s license required.
• At least six months of experience in water or wastewater.
• Must obtain a Class D Water license within six months of hiring.
• Must obtain Traffic Flagger and Work Zone Safety certification within one year of hiring.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in maintaining the water distribution system.
• Perform repairs and maintenance of the water distribution system.
• Sign logs for TCEQ documentation.
• Repair, clean, and record video of the wastewater collection system.
• Service, replace, and read water meters.
• Perform daily master meter readings.
• Perform chlorine residual testing.
• Perform daily work orders as assigned.
• Perform maintenance and daily checks on equipment.
• Perform rotating on-call duties, including weekends and holidays.
• Support the relationship between the City of Cibolo and the public.
• Backup the Customer Service Representative.
