Job summary

Starting salary range is $20.03–$22.58 per hour, equivalent to about $41,670–$46,961 annually. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with related clerical experience. Local Maryland county benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clerical experience or equivalent combination may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service for Water and Sewer customers by phone and/or in person.
• Schedules meter investigations.
• Prepares and verifies penalty waivers.
• Reviews and verifies accounts for bankruptcy, foreclosures, and tax sale.
• Prepares delinquent water accounts for tax sale.
• Reviews and verifies payment batch information.
• Assists with reviewing meter readings for billing as needed.
