Job summary

CDM Smith is looking for an entry‑level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. This position offers an excellent pathway for early career engineers to apply their skills to innovative water projects and grow within a dynamic team.

You will support design and implementation of water and wastewater facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and may participate in fieldwork across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1 year of related experience (domestic/international travel may be required).
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support design and implementation of water and wastewater facilities, sewer systems, pipelines and related infrastructure.
• Ensure designs meet client specs and regulatory standards.
• Participate in site assessments, adjust design parameters, and conduct water quality analyses and modeling.
• Contribute to technical reports and client presentations.
