Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Structural Project Engineer with 5–10 years of experience focused on water resource-related work. The candidate will work on projects in fisheries, hydropower, dams, and other civil infrastructure.

The role involves design, analysis, and field support across a range of projects with opportunities to mentor staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Travel up to 15% is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
P.E. licensure is a plus.
Experience with water resource infrastructure projects.
Experience with seismic analysis methods.

Responsibilities

Prepare design documentation reports and technical memoranda.
Perform structural calculations by hand and with design software.
Develop project details and drawings.
Edit specifications and assist with the Project Manual.
Perform construction services including on-site inspections.
Develop FEA models and present results to clients.
Provide mentorship to engineering staff.
