BKF Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive growth in our Water Resources practice in California. The role commands broad responsibility across design, planning, and management of water-related projects, with focus on pump stations, tanks, and transmission mains.

The ideal candidate has 14+ years of experience, strong communication, and education up to a Master’s degree with CA PE licensure preferred. This is a high-visibility, leadership position with client-facing duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering required.
• 14+ years of relevant experience in Water Resources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a project manager on larger design and construction projects.
• Lead as a technical or management leader within the Water Resources sector.
• Prepare reports, construction drawings, specifications, and calculations for water distribution systems.
• Review designs for compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Develop proposals and budgets for larger engineering efforts.
• Meet with clients to determine project scope and staffing and fees.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through industry engagement.
• Mentor and train Senior Project Engineers, Engineering Managers, and Project Managers.
