Job summary

Princeton Hydro LLC seeks an experienced project manager/water resources engineer to join our mission-driven team in New Jersey. You will provide civil and water resources expertise, including hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, supporting ecological restoration and geotechnical projects.

The role emphasizes project ownership, client engagement, and delivering technically sound solutions while mentoring junior staff in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering required.
• Minimum 5+ years relevant experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects with balance of technical execution, planning, engagement, and delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to write proposals, reports, and present to clients.

Responsibilities

• Find solutions for engineering problems and own projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering projects with planning, resource coordination, client engagement, and delivery.
• Prepare construction plans, technical specs, engineer's estimates, sign and seal docs, and critical path schedules.
• Perform stormwater management reviews, inspections, and summary reports.
• Attend and provide testimony at Planning Board meetings as an expert.
• Construction oversight for restoration projects
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
• Other related duties as requested
