You will serve municipalities, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders as a trusted advisor, guiding multidisciplinary teams and ensuring on-schedule, on-budget delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and a client-focused approach in a growing water resources practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with public water and sewer projects in West Virginia.
• Strong hydraulics and water resources background.
• Proven leadership and project management abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently.
• Ownership mindset and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead water and wastewater projects from concept to construction.
• Oversee teams preparing plans and specifications.
• Provide technical leadership for civil/utility projects.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and client satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with municipalities, funding agencies, and regulators.
• Coordinate environmental studies, permitting, and deliverables.
• Attend public meetings and stakeholder events.
• Support construction administration including RFIs and change orders.
• Identify future project opportunities and support business development.
• Mentor and coach junior engineering staff.
