Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with public water and sewer projects in West Virginia.
• Strong hydraulics and water resources background.
• Proven leadership and project management abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently.

Position Overview

This is an opportunity to lead complex public water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning

through construction while serving as a trusted advisor to municipalities, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.

The Project Manager will oversee multidisciplinary project teams, provide technical leadership, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. This individual will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the water resources practice throughout West Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through construction
• Oversee project teams preparing engineering plans and specifications
• Provide technical leadership for civil engineering and utility infrastructure projects
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and overall client satisfaction
• Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, funding agencies, and regulatory organizations
• Coordinate environmental studies, permitting efforts, and technical deliverables
• Attend and present at public meetings and stakeholder events
• Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Identify future project opportunities and support business development efforts
• Mentor and coach junior engineering staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Experience with public water and sewer infrastructure projects in West Virginia
• Strong background in hydraulics, water resources, and water/wastewater treatment
• Proven leadership and project management abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently
