Job summary

LVI Associates in Denver, CO is seeking a Project Engineer to support a variety of municipal water, wastewater, and water resources projects. You will work with experienced leaders to deliver infrastructure that serves communities.

The ideal candidate has a civil/environmental background, 5+ years in consulting, and strong analytical and technical writing skills. PE license is preferred or obtainable within a reasonable timeframe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant consulting engineering experience.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Experience with municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, or water resources projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering studies, technical evaluations, and planning efforts.
• Assist with the preparation of design drawings, specifications, technical reports, and construction documents.
• Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and design development.
• Contribute to water, wastewater, and water resources projects from planning through construction.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.
• Support construction-phase services and field activities as needed.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and schedule expectations.
• Prepare clear and concise technical documentation and presentations.
