Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Project Engineer with a strong focus in Water/Wastewater to join its Baton Rouge or Shreveport team. You will lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of water/wastewater experience, a Louisiana PE license, and enjoys mentoring junior staff while building client relationships and contributing to growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• 5+ years of water/wastewater engineering and design experience.
• PE license in Louisiana required; licensure in neighboring states preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater projects.
• Conduct engineering analyses to support municipal infrastructure improvements.
• Develop planning studies, reports, and infrastructure assessments.
• Design water distribution, treatment, and wastewater systems.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and QC procedures.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical guidance.
