Job summary

Petroplan is seeking a Water Resources Lead for a well-established engineering firm with offices across North Carolina, Texas, and Florida. The role centers on leading project delivery, expanding the Water Resources practice, and strengthening client relationships in the public sector.

You will guide strategic direction, identify new markets, and help grow the team while delivering high-quality water/wastewater projects.

Qualifications

• PE preferred and engineering degree required.
• 12 years minimum experience in Water Resources within an engineering consultancy.
• Strong leadership and client-relations abilities.
• Ability to identify new markets and opportunities in Water Resources.
• Experience in developing proposals and contracts to ensure profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Water Resources projects and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships across public sector clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive strategy for growth.
• Collaborate with executives to shape service offerings and market expansion.
• Mentor and grow the Water Resources team and supporting staff.
