Job summary

Lochmueller Group is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to lead our Northern Indiana team (South Bend, Mishawaka, Fort Wayne). A PE and strong leadership experience are required to guide wastewater, drinking water and stormwater projects.

The role offers department leadership opportunities and exposure to major infrastructure programs with a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience managing large and/or complex Water Resources projects.
• Proficiency with engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership with staff mentoring and department management.
• Strong client management and relationship development.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages a team of engineers and technicians; mentors staff.
• Ensures project deliverables are on time and within budget; plans and directs department activities.
• Develops new client relationships and maintains existing ones with regulatory alignment.
• Improves productivity and efficiency; supports budget development and cost controls.
