Job summary

Lochmueller Group seeks an experienced Water Resources Engineer to lead our NorthernIndiana team (South Bend, Mishawaka, Fort Wayne, and soon Merrillville). The ideal candidate is a Professional Engineer with substantial experience managing wastewater, drinking water and/or storm water projects.

This is a leadership role with potential to advance into a department manager position or to further your career through strong project management and team leadership within Lochmueller Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE).
• Demonstrated success in managing large and/or complex Water Resources projects.
• Proficiency with engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership and personnel management with a strong track record.
• Strong client management capabilities.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Water Resources team; manage staffing and performance.
• Plan, organize, and direct department projects within budget and schedule.
• Develop new client relationships and manage stakeholder communications.
• Improve productivity and manage budget and cost controls.
