Job summary

Lochmueller Group in Northern Indiana seeks an experienced Water Resources Engineer to lead our team in South Bend, Mishawaka, Fort Wayne, and Merrillville. A Professional Engineer with substantial experience in wastewater, drinking water and/or storm water projects is preferred.

This role offers a path to department management and strong leadership exposure. The ideal candidate will drive project management and client relations, delivering high-quality water resources solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• Proven success managing large/complex Water Resources projects.
• Proficiency with engineering software and tools for design/analysis.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages department teams; mentors staff and oversees growth.
• Ensures project deliverables are on time and within budget; guides design/construction oversight.
• Develops new client relationships and maintains existing ones; coordinates with regulators.
• Improves productivity and manages budgets; analyzes variances and reports financials.
