Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Water Resources Engineering Intern for our Atlanta, GA office to support transportation and drainage design projects.

You will assist with CAD drawings, hydrologic/hydraulic calculations, and the preparation of technical reports and client deliverables. No prior experience is required if you are enrolled in an ABET‑accredited Civil or Environmental Engineering program, with at least 60 hours completed by Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• EXPERIENCE: No experience required if enrolled in an ABET‑accredited degree program.
• EDUCATION: 60 hours toward civil or environmental engineering degree by Summer 2027.
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Basic computing, data entry, math; willingness to learn; MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and updating engineering drawings and layouts using CAD software.
• Assist with hydrologic, hydraulic, and other engineering calculations.
• Assist with preparation of reports, quantity calculations, and project documentation.
• Assist in production and QC review of construction plans and client submittals.
