Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Infrastructure Engineering Intern to join our Atlanta, GA office. You will provide administrative and operations support, compile data for project reports, and perform engineering calculations under supervision.

Field observations of construction may be required as part of the internship. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a civil engineering program and have completed at least 60 hours toward the degree by Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• No experience required if enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in a related technical field.
• Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operations support.
• Compile data and prepare reports related to projects.
• Perform engineering calculations under supervision.
• Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
• Perform other duties as the supervisor may deem necessary.
