Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in our Denver, CO office. You will assist project engineers with analyses, design development, and technical tasks while gaining hands-on experience in hydraulic and hydrologic engineering.

You will support data collection, modeling, calculations, and evaluations, and help communicate design concepts via drawings, exhibits, and reports. Mentorship and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.
• Must have completed 60 hours toward civil or environmental engineering degree from ABET accredited program by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist project engineers with water resources analyses and design development.
• Support data collection, modeling, calculations, and engineering evaluations.
• Help communicate design concepts through drawings, exhibits, and reports.
• Participate in preparation and organization of design data, plan sets, specs, and docs.
