Job summary

Reeves Young in Greenville, SC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to handle the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery across our job sites. You will dig, move earth, and support site crews with precision and safety, maintaining equipment and following job specifications.

Responsibilities include operating a range of machines, transporting materials, performing maintenance, and coordinating with team members.

Qualifications

• Must be trained in all required safety procedures and certifications.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers and graders.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and follow directions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including water trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers, graders and compactors.
• Transport and deliver materials to various job-site locations.
• Perform street maintenance and excavation work.
• Service and perform general and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Install and maintain signs and fencing.
• Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks and keep equipment clean.
