Job summary

Reeves Young is seeking a hard-working Heavy Equipment Operator in Rock Hill, SC. This full-time role involves operating a variety of heavy machinery, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient digging, grading and material movement on active job sites.

You will coordinate with Foreman and Laborer positions, monitor equipment fluid levels, and uphold safety standards in all weather conditions while contributing to timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of heavy equipment operation techniques involved in moving earth, grading, digging, compacting and lifting heavy objects.
• Skilled in heavy equipment operation and safe work practices.
• Ability to follow directions precisely and maintain a schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as water trucks, excavators, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors and other equipment.
• Transport and deliver materials to job sites.
• Perform street maintenance and excavation work.
• Service and perform general and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Check equipment fluid levels daily and ensure safekeeping and storage.
