Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants in Raleigh, NC seeks a Water Resources Practice Leader to drive business development and lead a team of engineers and scientists on complex stormwater and water resources projects. You will develop new clients, manage existing relationships, and guide technical work from proposals through project delivery.

The role requires a strong background in civil/environmental engineering, 10+ years of consulting experience, and a PE/PG license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field (required).
• Advanced degree in civil/environmental engineering or natural resources (preferred).
• Professional registration (P.E./P.G. or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposals and projects with public and private clients.
• Develop new clients and expand Geosyntec's market share.
• Manage a team of engineers/scientists and mentor staff.
• Coordinate business development and client management efforts.
• Oversee water resources analyses, QC, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and schedule QA/QC.
• Travel as needed to client sites and project locations.
