Job summary

CP Engineers seeks a Group Manager for the Water Resources Engineering Group with 15+ years of experience to lead the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

This role blends technical leadership with business acumen, overseeing strategy, financial performance, staffing, and client relationships to drive growth and deliver high-quality outcomes for municipal and county authorities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of water resources engineering experience.
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams.
• Strong ability to interface with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in project management and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute annual and long-term business plans for the Water Resources Engineering Group.
• Manage KPIs: revenue growth, utilization, and client retention.
• Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and growth opportunities for the group.
• Hire, onboard, and develop engineers and managers within the group.
• Ensure high client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
• Lead organizational change and adoption of best practices.
