Job summary

Stonebrooke Engineering is seeking an experienced Water Resources Group Manager to lead and grow its Water Resources practice in Burnsville, MN. The role focuses on leadership, project delivery, and strategic growth across transportation and water resources projects for public and private clients.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in water resources, a PE license, and strong skills in hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater design, and modeling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in water resources engineering or related fields.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Minnesota or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a water resources team.
• Oversee project delivery from concept through completion, with budgets.
• Provide oversight on stormwater management, drainage design, floodplain analysis, and hydraulic modeling.
• Guide design decisions and review plans for quality and accuracy.
• Support proposals and pursue new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Serve as primary client contact and foster long-term relationships.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Contribute to staffing, service expansion, and strategic growth.
