Job summary

American Water, the largest regulated water and wastewater utility in the United States, is seeking an Engineering Project Delivery Manager (Water Resources). You will supervise a team of engineers and project managers, overseeing capital investment projects across production and network systems to meet asset needs.

Responsibilities include budget and schedule management, developing delivery metrics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with operations for operational impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of ten years' experience in the Engineering function of a large organization; Water/Wastewater experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and PMs to monitor budgets and schedules for CIM projects.
• Drive efficiency by developing delivery metrics and procurement approaches.
• Deliver capital projects to meet asset needs within CIM scope.
• Ensure asset owner satisfaction and coordinate with operations staff; assess operational impacts.
