Job summary

Spencer Ogden | Colorado water resources practice seeks a senior Water Resources Engineering Leader to lead and expand the Colorado practice, focusing on water rights engineering, supply planning, client development, and technical leadership.

You will lead complex projects, build a team, cultivate long-term client relationships, and drive growth in the Colorado water community across the Rocky Mountain region.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of water resources engineering experience.
• 8+ years of experience working within the Colorado water resources market.
• Strong knowledge of Colorado water rights frameworks and administration.
• Significant experience with water supply and water rights engineering.
• Surface water and water balance modeling experience.
• Demonstrated client relationship and business development capabilities.
• Experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, Earth Sciences, or related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Expert testimony or litigation-support experience is highly desirable.

We’re looking for a senior Water Resources Engineering Leader to help lead and expand a growing Colorado water resources practice.

This position is particularly suited to an established Colorado water resources professional with deep experience in water rights engineering, water supply planning, client development, and technical leadership.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead complex projects, develop a team, build long-term client relationships, and play a major role in growing the firm's presence within the Colorado water community.
