Qualifications

  • PE license preferred; advanced degrees a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex water resources and water supply projects throughout Colorado.
  • Provide technical expertise related to water rights, water availability, planning, and management.
  • Support and grow client relationships across municipal, utility, and private sector markets.
  • Develop new business opportunities and contribute to long-term market growth.
  • Lead project pursuits, proposals, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams and mentor developing staff.
  • Oversee technical quality, project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and review technical memoranda, reports, studies, and presentations.
  • Communicate technical findings to clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Support water rights evaluations, supply assessments, modeling efforts, and regulatory processes.

Our client is a well-established engineering and environmental consulting firm seeking a senior-level water resources professional to help lead and expand its presence throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region.

This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced engineer or water resources specialist with a strong background in Colorado water rights, water supply planning, and client development. The successful candidate will play a key role in technical project delivery, business development, team leadership, and strategic growth initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success managing clients and developing business opportunities.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Expert witness or litigation support experience is a plus.
