Job summary

EKI Environment & Water, Inc. is seeking a Colorado Water Resource Engineering Leader to head water rights projects, develop client relationships, and expand the Colorado book of business.

This role requires leading multi-disciplinary teams, delivering high-quality reports, and guiding strategic planning across the Rocky Mountain region. You will manage project delivery, coordinate with clients and regulators, and mentor staff while contributing to the firm’s ESOP-focused culture and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 12+ years of experience, with 8+ years in Colorado water resources engineering
• Expert testimony experience preferred and professional registration desirable
• Technical knowledge in surface water modeling, water resources planning, data management and visualization
• Knowledge of Colorado water rights frameworks and administration

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow Colorado water rights engineering and related water resources services including water supply planning and development
• Grow a book of business for water resource engineering in the Colorado and Rocky Mountain markets
• Develop long-term relationships with core clients
• Lead competitive pursuits and coordinate with marketing
• Develop and manage a team of professionals to execute the pipeline
• Support professional development, innovation and technical capabilities
• Plan, organize and manage development of deliverables within time and budget
• Prepare technical memorandums, reports and expert analyses
