Job summary

Kennedy Jenks Consultants invites ambitious students to join the 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Sacramento, CA. You will assist on water resources, water quality, wastewater, and water treatment projects, with opportunities to contribute to plans, reports, and site visits.

This internship offers mentorship, professional development, networking, and a hybrid work model with at least two days in the office weekly. Pay is hourly with benefits appropriate for interns.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate engineering degree in one of the listed fields.
• Completion of a minimum of junior (third-year) standing in an accredited program.
• Experience or coursework in water resources is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams on water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment projects.
• Involve field work, technical report preparation and calculations; pre-construction conditions documentation.
• Assist design plans and specifications and participate in client meetings.
• Visit project sites and engage with project teams and clients.
