Kennedy Jenks Consultants in Walnut Creek, CA invites aspiring engineers to join its 2027 Kickstart Internship Program. You will support project teams across water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, helping with fieldwork, calculations, and design plans.

The program offers mentorship, professional development, meaningful projects, and networking. The hybrid model requires at least two days in the office weekly, with pay of $21–$26/hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Completion of a minimum of junior (third-year) standing in an accredited engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of projects applying skills and calculations learned in school.
• Support project teams and communicate with team members and clients.
• Attend and contribute to client meetings.
• Visit project sites as needed.
• Receive mentorship and guidance from professional staff.
• Network with employees and clients.
