Job summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking ambitious undergrad and graduate interns for its 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Portland, Oregon. You will support project teams delivering water resources, water quality, wastewater and recycled water planning and implementation for federal, state, and municipal clients, with opportunities to work on projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate engineering degree.
• Minimum of sophomore standing in an accredited program.
• Field of study includes civil, environmental, chemical or related engineering areas.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams on water resources, water quality, wastewater and recycled water planning and implementation issues.
• Involve field work, technical report preparation and calculations, pre-construction conditions documentation, design plans and specifications.
• Attend client meetings and visit project sites as needed.
