Job summary

Kennedy Jenks invites ambitious students to join the 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Portland, Oregon. You will support project teams addressing water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment for clients across the United States.

The program offers mentorship, meaningful projects, and professional development, with a hybrid work model and two office days per week. Pay ranges from $21 to $26 per hour, varying by education, location, and performance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or another related engineering field.
• Completion of a minimum of sophomore standing in an accredited engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Working on a variety of projects which allow you to apply skills and calculations learned in school.
• Managing ongoing projects and communicating with other team members and clients.
• Attending and contributing to client meetings.
• Visiting project sites.
• Receiving mentorship and advising.
• Networking with employees and clients.
