Kennedy Jenks is hosting its 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Federal Way, Washington. As an intern you will support project teams in water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, pipeline design, and recycled water planning, with opportunities on nationwide projects.

The role offers mentorship, meaningful projects, professional development, networking, and a hybrid work model with two days in the office each week.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Completion of a minimum of sophomore standing in an accredited engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of projects that apply skills and calculations learned in school.
• Manage ongoing projects and communicate with team members and clients.
• Attend and contribute to client meetings.
• Visit project sites.
• Receive mentorship and guidance.
• Network with employees and clients.
