GEI Consultants, Inc. in Plymouth, Michigan is seeking motivated individuals to support a broad range of water resources engineering technician duties.
You will collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technical staff from conception through construction on restoration and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include field data collection, drafting with AutoCAD and ArcGIS, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling using tools like HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, HY-8, and Excel.
Your role at GEI. The Plymouth, Michigan office of GEI is seeking highly motivated individuals to perform a broad range of water resources engineering technician duties. Candidates will work with engineers, scientists, and other technical staff to contribute to development of projects from conception to completed construction. This position will support GEI’s civil/water resources practice, which provide services in a wide range of settings. Representative projects of the position include data collection and analysis of riverine, ground water, and coastal systems and preparation of maps, figures, and plan sets. Occasional field engineering may also be assigned.
