Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Full-Time Water Resources Engineering Co-Op in our Boston office for the Spring 2027 semester (Jan 2027–Jun 2027). The role is for undergrad/grad students through Northeastern University. You will gain hands-on experience by working with senior staff on real projects.

This co-op provides exposure to field work, design calculations, cost estimates, and documentation while mentoring through the Developing Professionals Network. Travel may be required; housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in Civil or Environmental Eng with expected graduation June 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older and able to work in the United States.
• Interest in water resources engineering and willingness to learn from mentors.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical and professional skills.
• Learn basic Civil and Water Resources engineering principles.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks and adhere to company policies.
• Occasional travel may be required; no relocation or housing assistance provided.
