WSP USA invites Boston-based Structural Engineering co-op for Spring 2027 as part of the Northeastern Co-op Program. You will work with the Transportation Facilities Team, gaining hands-on exposure under mentor-ship from senior staff and collaborating on real projects.

The role emphasizes learning basic structural engineering concepts, performing design calculations, researching projects, and maintaining documentation while upholding safety and ethics in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in Structural/Civil Engineering at Northeastern University with May 2027+ graduation.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Interest in structural engineering with ability to work with engineers and non-engineers.
• Good communication, writing, and basic software skills.
• Commitment to safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering tasks to develop technical and professional skills.
• Learn basic principles of structural engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and safety policies.
