Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Resources Engineer in Denver to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, prepare technical reports, and manage project tasks. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality planning, permitting, and design outputs.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, data presentation, and active participation in HDR's employee-owned culture while advancing water resources solutions in the Colorado market.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent field.
Master's degree in civil engineering is preferred.
PE license or licensure as required by the location.

Responsibilities

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for flood risk reduction and related applications.
Prepare technical reports, memoranda, and planning documentation.
Provide project engineering and task management support, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with project managers, technical leads, and clients.
Collect, analyze, and present technical data in reports and meetings.
Conduct QA/QC reviews in line with HDR standards.
Support planning, alternatives evaluation, and permitting efforts.
