Job summary

I & S Group, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our Bloomington, MN team. This full-time, employee-owned position focuses on rural surface water projects, stormwater management, and collaborative design across disciplines.

You will work with a dynamic group to develop plans, perform analyses, and coordinate with environmental studies, permitting, and construction teams to deliver safe, sustainable water solutions. Bloomington location and travel to project sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering or bioproducts and bio-systems engineering.
• PE licensure is required.
• 5-10 years of experience in Surface Water industry.
• Experience with stormwater management and rural drainage projects.
• Ability to travel to various job sites and ISG office locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop stormwater management plans and reports.
• Design stormwater infrastructure including retention basins and drainage systems.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using modeling software.
• Coordinate with environmental studies, permitting, and construction teams.
• Provide QA/QC for drawings and documents.
• Lead and mentor staff on design projects.
