Job summary

ISG in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the Surface Water group in Rural Surface Water. The role focuses on stormwater planning, hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, and field QA/QC across project lifecycles.

You will collaborate with internal teams, PE-licensed professionals, and client stakeholders to design retention basins, drainage systems, and permitting documentation while mentoring staff and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• PE licensure is required.
• Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in the surface water industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop stormwater management plans and design stormwater infrastructure.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses with modeling software.
• Coordinate environmental studies, permitting, and project deliverables.
• Provide QA/QC for drawings and documents using AutoCAD, Civil3D and ESRI ArcGIS.
