Job summary

ISG seeks a Water Resources Engineer in Storm Lake, IA to lead stormwater design and rural surface water projects. You will collaborate with internal design teams, perform hydrologic analyses, and support environmental compliance across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include modeling, plan development, field inspections, and client coordination. A PE license and 5–10 years in surface water are preferred; travel to ISG offices and sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in the surface water industry.
• Ability to travel to various job sites and ISG locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement stormwater management plans and reports to control runoff and flooding.
• Design and oversee construction of stormwater infrastructure (retention basins, swales, drainage).
• Modeling using XPSWMM, PCSWMM, Infoworks ICM, HydroCAD, Hec-RAS/Hec-HMS; QA/QC drawings and specs.
