Job summary

Halff is seeking new graduates joining our Water Resources team in Richardson, TX, to work on flood risk education, planning, and design for stormwater infrastructure for municipalities, governmental agencies and developers.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited) and have 0-3 years of water resources/public works experience. FE exam within six months is expected along with proficiency in Autodesk, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS, ArcGIS Pro and related tools.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years in water resources/public works. Resume projects should demonstrate channels design, storm drain analysis and design, watershed modeling, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and master drainage planning.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
• FE exam passed or planned within six months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in design and analysis of water resources projects.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis.
• Assist in development of master drainage plans.
• Prepare and review engineering documents and reports.
• Prepare and review plans, specifications and bid documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
